15 Sep 2007 - Greenwich Multifaith Forum Faith Walk

Join the Greenwich Multi-Faith Forum on Saturday 15 September, 10am - 5.30pm for a day of visiting places of worship in the Greenwich area.

The purpose of the walk is to encourage friendship and understanding amongst people of all faiths in the Borough of Greenwich and in South London. Both children and adults are welcome to join us.

You can join or leave the walk at any point along the route. Please remember to dress modestly as we will be visiting places of worship along the route. (Women will need to bring a head covering for use in some places of worship, and all will need to cover arms and legs. We will also have to remove our shoes in some places of worship).

Food and refreshments will be served at some points along our route. We hope to have an introduction to each place of worship or faith led by a member of that place of worship when we arrive at each stop along the way. The program and map for the walk can be downloaded from the bottom of the page.
