20 Apr 2005 - Incitement to Religious Hatred
The Home Secretary David Blunkett has said that the Government intends to introduce an offence of incitement to religious hatred as soon as possible to help tackle extremists who used religion to stir up hatred in our society. He was speaking at New challenges for race equality and community cohesion in the 21st century, an IPPR event held at The Chartered Insurance Institute on 7 July 2004.
